New Automatic Employee Registration System – Easy, Accurate, and Legally Required

As a result of the new EU legislation on mandatory time tracking, which came into effect on July 1, 2024, employers are now required to register employees' working hours and breaks more precisely than ever before. With our new, automated employee registration system, compliance is easy – while also creating clarity, efficiency, and peace of mind in everyday work.

Automatic registration via beacon and gateway

The system works by assigning each employee a unique beacon – either as a small keychain-friendly device or a discreet credit card-like version that fits perfectly in a keyhanger alongside the ID card.

At the company’s entrances and exits, a BLE Gateway is installed, which connects via WiFi or LAN directly to our platform GSMCLOUD. When an employee arrives at or leaves the workplace, the time is automatically recorded and securely stored in the cloud – with no manual action required.

Mobile flexibility and full control

If the employee is working remotely or forgets their beacon, they can easily register their working hours manually via their mobile phone. All data is gathered in one place on the GSMCLOUD platform, where the employer gets a full overview of working hours, lunch breaks, and attendance patterns – all in accordance with the law.
